In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top travel and local apps in the United Kingdom presented some interesting trends. Based on data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced varying patterns in downloads and active users.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a moderate fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at around 78K in late July. However, a noticeable decline was observed towards the end of September, with downloads dropping to approximately 57K. The weekly active users had a similar trend, peaking at over 4.6M in late July before declining to around 3.7M by the end of the quarter.

RingGo: Mobile Car Parking App demonstrated a strong performance in weekly downloads, reaching a high of approximately 95K in late August. The active user base showed a consistent increase, peaking at over 3M in early September, although it tapered off slightly towards the end of the period.

Trip.com: Book Flights, Hotels experienced a peak in weekly downloads at about 87K in early July, followed by a gradual decline to around 59K by the end of September. Active users saw a peak of over 860K in mid-August, with a decline to approximately 685K by the quarter's close.

Airbnb maintained steady weekly downloads around the 70K mark initially, but saw a decrease to about 48K by the end of September. Active users peaked at approximately 3.2M in late July, before declining to around 2.2M at the end of the quarter.

Jet2 - Holidays & Flights had a consistent download rate, with a peak of about 73K in mid-August. Active users increased to nearly 1.4M in early August, before experiencing a drop to around 990K by the end of September.
